Friends of WEECE, Inc, is a US based 501c(3) organization established to raise funds and consult on project design and evaluation benchmarks for WEECE in Tanzania (East Africa). WEECE, the Women's Education and Economic Center, is a registered NGO in Tanzania serves to support the marginalized women of the Kilimanjaro region to achieve economic stability and gender equality through microloans, education, counseling and legal advocacy. Other social service projects include business training seminars, HIV/AIDS education, vocational training, and building schools, clinics and sustainable agricultural programs in isolated villages.
As President and Founding member, my tasks have included:
